For the 2022 football season, the North Jackson Press is running a Football Pickin’Contest, sponsored by TKT Wholesale, located at 2402 Airport Road West in Fort Payne, and we invite you to enter for a chance to win $300. The contest is very easy. Look at the game list on the sports page, choose who you think will win each game, write down your choice on the entry form next to the list, and mail it to us. Entry forms must be postmarked on or before the Wednesday of that game week. For example: This week’s contest has the list of games that will be played next week. So you must have your predictions to us before any of those games are actually played. Each week the entries will be reviewed, and the entry with the highest number of correct picks (or predictions) will be that week’s winner, and their name will go into an “end of season drawing”. In case of a tie for the highest number of correct picks, those names tying will all be placed into the drawing. Entry forms might have more spaces available than the number of games to choose from some weeks due to different teams having a bye week, but some weeks there will be enough games to fill all of the spaces. So please pick up a copy of the North Jackson Press and get your picks to us as soon as possible. Have fun and good luck!
