A memorial service for John will be held at 6:30 PM, Monday August 31, 2020 at Agape Baptist Church in Scottsboro, Alabama. The service will be followed by a celebration of his life.
Mr. Cox was a Veteran of the United States Navy where he served 21 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer.
