Story by Cinthia Rico North Sand Mountain fell 50-13 against Dade County (Ga.) Friday night in Higdon. The Bisons faced another tough loss as their offense had difficulty gaining yards. Dade County constructed a 14-0 early lead, scoring two touchdowns when Brody Cooper rushed on six and 18 yards. Interceptions by Hank Farmer, Kaden Moore and Nelson Poore kept NSM in the game. As Dade County pushed their lead to 36-0 at halftime with Braylon Sullivan rushing for 5 yards for a touchdown and 62-yard TD run. Sullivan scored his third touchdown of the night on a seven-yard run to push the lead to 43-0 in the third. NSM answered with Landon Keller connecting with Blake Hill for an 11-yard touchdown pass, bringing the score to 43-6. However, Dade’s Cooper found Nick E. on a 3-yard TD. The Bisons’ recorded their final score when Keller connected with Jackson Burgess for a 3-yard touchdown making the final 50-13. NSM finished with 147 total yards, rushed 78-yards in eighth plays, highlighted by a 28-yard run by Farmer, who also gained 46 yards on 11 carries. Moore had 45 yards on nine carries and Keller completed 9 of 16 passes for 60 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Dade gained 567 total yards on 48 offensive plays, led by Sullivan who gained 214 yards and scored three touchdowns on 13 carries. Cooper finished with 127 yards rushing and two touchdowns on eight carries and completed 6-of-9 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown. On Friday, the Bisons take on Class 2A, No. 1-ranked Fyffe.
