The Raiders accumulated a 42 first-half lead via a series of touchdown passes from Andrew Hunter. Hunter completed 20 of 24 passing attempts for 376 yards and seven touchdowns. Grayson Davenport caught nine passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns, Conner Goodson had 100 yards and a touchdown on five catches North Jackson’s Diego Holt got things moving for the Chiefs with an 18-yard touchdown run and a successful 2-point conversion in the first quarter for an 8-7 lead over Randolph. Randolph answered with multiple touchdowns to lift the Raiders to a 42-8 advantage at the half. The two teams continued battling as the Raiders accumulated scores. Grayson Davenport caught nine passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns and Conner Goodson had 100 yards and a touchdown on five catches. Holt scored on a 9-yard run in the fourth quarter and finished with 161 rushing yards on 23 carries for the Chiefs. Nick Price Jr. added 77 yards on 17 carries for the chiefs. North Jackson accumulated 235 total yards, 26 passing yards, 209 rushing yards, three turnovers, one fumble and two interceptions. Randolph finished with 363 total yards, 325 passing yards, and 38 rushing yards. This week North Jackson is looking for a win as they face off against St. John Paul II, the last time the two teams faced each other was in 2021, and the Chiefs came out victorious with a 27-9 victory. The Chief host St. John Paul II in a Class 4A, Region 8 clash Thursday at R.D. Hicks Stadium in Stevenson.
