Pisgah fell to Fort Payne 5-1 last Friday at the Wildcats new turf field. Pisgah’s Piper Anderson allowed eight hits while striking out five and walking two in a complete-game performance. Fort Payne’s AJ Kramer slammed a solo home run across center field to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning. Baylee Green tripled to right field to plate Abby Phillips and Emily Ellis later in the frame before Green capped the scoring on a Caitlin Snyder single with two outs in play. Last Thursday, the Eagles toppled North Sand Mountain 15-0 as the Bisons struggled to get runs in. Pisgah’s scored on a triple by Claudia Barron, and a single by Piper Anderson in the first inning. Anderson allowed one hit and no runs in four innings, striking out eight and walking one. The Bisons Cloey Davenport allowed 15 runs on nine hits over three innings, striking out two. Pisgah collected nine hits from Anderson, Karlee Holcomb, and Madeline Flammia.

The Gaylesville bested the Bisons 7-0 after capturing an early lead on Monday. NSM’s Cloey Davenport allowed seven runs on nine hits, striking out nine in seven innings. Kinsey Barton led the Bisons with two hits.
