Breast Cancer Pink Party
The annual Breast Cancer Pink
Party is underway. To purchase a T-shirt
for $15 until October 7, you will pay when you place your order. There will be a Zumba class on Tuesday, October
22, at 6:00 pm at the Ridley building in Stevenson. All proceeds will go to the Beauty and the
Beast Breast Cancer fund, which helps Jackson County
individuals with expenses for treatment.

Pisgah Civitan Club Import Car Show
The Pisgah Civitan Club will
host its second Import Car Show, on Saturday, October 5, from 10:00 am to 5:00
pm, at the Pisgah
Civitan Park.
Participants can enter a car in the show for $20. Spectators pay $5 a carload to attend. There
will be multiple categories and prizes for the top cars. Concessions will be
available, and there will be live music throughout the day. For more

5th Annual Scottsboro BBQ Festival
The 5th Annual Scottsboro BBQ
Festival will be held in the Downtown
Square in Scottsboro on Saturday, October 12. There will be a Backyard BBQ Competition with
a $1,550 total payout, Kids-Q and Junior Grill Master Championship, People’s
Choice Competition, Corn Hole Tournament, Kids Fun Zone, Barq-off, Dog Parade,
live entertainment, Beer and Wine
Garden, car show, Witches
Ride, as well as arts/crafts and food vendors.

Stevenson Public Library will
host a book signing for “A Clinician’s Guide to Caregiving” by Dr.
Jerome Houser on Tuesday, October 15, from 4:30 pm-7:00 pm
26th Annual Industry Appreciation Day
Registration is now underway
for the 26th Annual Industry Appreciation Day.
This event includes a golf tournament and dinner to be held at Goose

Guitar Lessons
Stevenson Public Library will
host guitar lessons by Jonathan Olaphant on Wednesdays at 3:30 pm. Lessons will be $10 per person. You can pre-register at the library. All ages are welcome.
6th Annual Mistletoe Market
The Scottsboro Woman’s League
is proud to announce that the 6th Annual Mistletoe Market will be
held Friday, November 22 – Sunday, November 24, 2019. Opening and closing times to be announced
later. Mistletoe Market is an upscale
Christmas Market held at Goose
Pond Civic
Center with 30 vendors
from all across the Southeast. Last year
the market welcomed over 1,000 visitors!

fundraisers held by Scottsboro Woman’s League are donated to various charitable

Back To The Redback
Calling all singers,
musicians, and everyday folks that enjoy getting together and singing songs
from the “Redback Hymnal”. Back to the Redback Community Connect Group meets
each Thursday at 6:00 pm at Broadway’s Faith Chapel located across from Hardees
in Rainsville, Alabama. Don’t miss out on the opportunity
to fellowship with friends, enjoy good music, and sing praises to God.
Library’s Toddler Story Time
The Lena Cagle Public Library
located in Bridgeport
will hold Toddler Story Time, the 3rd Tuesday of every month, beginning at
10:00 am.
Dance Every Saturday Night!
Dance away your Saturday
nights from, 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at the Veterans Post Home in Scottsboro. Donations go to assist in missions and
programs for veterans, their families, and the community. The event is sponsored by American Legion
Auxiliary Unit 30. It will be an alcohol
and smoke free environment. All new-comers are welcome.
