The VFW and American Legion will hold a Memorial Day Ceremony at Collins Intermediate School on Monday, May 31, beginning at 10:45 am.
Depot Days Car & Truck Show
Stevenson Depot Days will host an open car and truck show on Saturday, June 12, at the new location, Stevenson City Park. The entry fee is $20 Top 25 awards: 10 = Pre-72, 10 = 72-presents and 5 = truck/specialty. There will be awards for best of show, paint, engine, interior, and longest distance driven. Stevenson Depot Days Beauty Pageant
Stevenson Depot Days will host a beauty pageant on Saturday, June 12, at noon. Age levels are as follows: 6 and under, 7 to 12 year-olds, 13-16 year-olds, and 17 years and up. Registration will be open from 11:00 to 11:30 am on the day of the pageant.
3rd Annual Stevenson Depot Days Golf Tournament

June 117 Bass Tournament
The 117 Bass Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 12, from the first safe light until 1:00 pm. The Entry fee is $100 (cash only) per boat. There is an optional $10 per boat big fish. Stevenson Volunteer Fire And Rescue will host their annual Bass Tournament on Saturday, June 26, from the first safe light until 1:00 pm. The Entry fee is $50 (cash only) per boat. The Check-in point is at 117 boat ramp. Weigh-in will be at 117 boat ramp at 1:00 pm. Early registration can be done at Stevenson City Hall until Friday, June 11. Late registration can be done the morning of the tournament at the check-in site from 4:00 am to 4:45 am. Stevenson Fire And Rescue chose a minimum weight class tournament to encourage all ages and abilities to have a safe family event on the water and to promote good sportsmanship to make memories. City of Bridgeport Senior Bus
The City of Bridgeport offers transportation for those in need. The Senior Bus can provide transportation to the store, pharmacy, or doctor appointments. To schedule your ride, contact City Hall at 256-495-3892. This service is free to the citizens of Bridgeport.
Bridgeport Downtown Flea Market
The Bridgeport Downtown Flea Market will be held on the first Saturday of each month. There will be a $5 donation taken from the vendors. This money goes to pay for refurbishing the caboose at the Depot. There will be all kinds of items, as well as food vendors. Musicians are also welcome to come and use the stage. Bridgeport is also encouraging residents to have their yard sales on the day of this event. The street downtown will be closed from the library to the baseball field. Domestic Violence Support Group
There will be a domestic violence support group that will meet monthly at the Stevenson Park Building on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm.
Peace By Piece Quilt Guild
The Peace By Piece Quilt Guild meets the second Tuesday of each month at The First United Methodist Church, located at 1105 South Broad Street in Scottsboro, at 9:30 am. Those who are interested in quilting are encouraged to attend.
