Breast
Cancer Pink Party
The annual Breast Cancer Pink Party is underway. There will be a Zumba class on Tuesday, October 22, at 6:00 pm at the Ridley building in Stevenson. All proceeds will go to the Beauty and the Beast Breast Cancer fund, which helps Jackson County individuals with expenses for treatment. Contact Karrin Ridley at 256-437-5152 to purchase a shirt.
5th Annual Scottsboro BBQ Festival
The 5th Annual Scottsboro BBQ
Festival will be held in the Downtown
Square in Scottsboro on Saturday, October 12. There will be a Backyard BBQ Competition with
a $1,550 total payout, Kids-Q and Junior Grill Master Championship, People’s
Choice Competition, Corn Hole Tournament, Kids Fun Zone, Barq-off, Dog Parade,
live entertainment, Beer and Wine
Garden, car show, Witches
Ride, as well as arts/crafts and food vendors.

host a book signing for “A Clinician’s Guide to Caregiving” by Dr.
Jerome Houser on Tuesday, October 15, from 4:30 pm-7:00 pm
26th Annual Industry Appreciation Day

6th Annual Mistletoe Market
The Scottsboro Woman’s League
is proud to announce that the 6th Annual Mistletoe Market will be
held Friday, November 22 – Sunday, November 24, 2019. Opening and closing times to be announced
later. Mistletoe Market is an upscale
Christmas Market held at Goose

from all across the Southeast. Last year

Calling all singers,
musicians, and everyday folks that enjoy getting together and singing songs
from the “Redback Hymnal”. Back to the Redback Community Connect Group meets

will hold Toddler Story Time, the 3rd Tuesday of every month, beginning at 10:00

Dance Every Saturday Night!

programs for veterans, their families, and the community. The event is sponsored by American Legion
