Bum Pickins Week 3
I told you, I told you, I told
you!!!! The Pickin Guru went 11-2 tied for best record uf the week!! Ole Monk
the Skunk went 11-2. I think he copied my picks. The teachers at school said he
used to cheat all the time! The ole Guru has got it going!! Both uf the Mayors fared a little better this
week going 9-4. Sherri Berry went 7-6, she needs to stick to watching Downton
Abbey, whatever the heck that is? The Rich Man was 11-2 for the week, and he
must have paid someone to pick for him!!! Parker the Lawman was 8-5, he best
make his living in the courtroom!!! Big T was 7-6, he just fell off the
bandwagon! Tricky Nick went 11-2, he must be copying off uf Monk the Skunk.
Haha. And last and will end up in last place, is Sister Ginger. She went 7-6.
She has been spending too much time at the beauty shop.
It was a great week uf football!
Sylvania got pushed around by Susan Moore 21-7. Collinsville unleashed 100
years uf football on NSM 54-28! Fort Payne slopped around and beat Albertville
20-13. Pisgah took over the mountain with a 51-8 beating! Head uf the Valley
got taught about the Heritage uf Decatur 35-14. Crossville ran into a wall at
Etowah 49-7, and Geraldine mauled the Bears uf Plainview 48-6. Danville
captured the Chief of North Jackson 20-7 and Falkville chopped down Woodville
32-6! Scottsboro had more than Ardmore by 41-27!!! LSU dehorned Texas 45-38, and Clemson beat
Texas AM 24-10!
This week is going to be BIG!!!
In the game uf the year Collinsville travels to face off with the BIG RED
Machine uf Fyffe! The ole ball coach Paul Benefield comes in on a roll after
defeating everybody in the way. Collinsville comes in playing 100 years uf
football! My gut tells me it’s Fyffe wins because they are at home and they
know how to win. They are strong and fast! So I guess I need to go with my Gut,
but Fyffe plays their game and the Panthers uf Collinsville gets the upset
24-21 with the leg uf Jason kick it a mile Perez!!!!
Crossville travels to
Douglas! Douglas gave up 72 points!
Crossville won’t score 72 points, but they will get the win 34-17.
Geraldine travels to Brindle Mtn.
Geraldine may play the Puppies this week!!!
Dogs win 56-0!
Ider hosts the Lions uf Section.
The Hornets feel like they got robbed last week. They will feel like they
robbed somebody this week with a 24-7 win!!!
Sand Rock pulled out an OT win
last week over Ider! This week they will need more than overtime as Cedar Bluff
wins 28-14!
Plainview travels to Susan Moore!
This will be a close game, but Bum thinks Susan Moore wins at home 21-14.
Sylvania hosts Gaston. Sylvania beats Gaston 31-14! Fort Payne celebrates homecoming this week! Sometimes this can be a distraction! Not this week! Cats claw Mae Jemison 24-10! Pisgah travels to New Hope. New Hope has a new coach and renewed hope! Bum thinks it will be no hope as Pisgah gets the win 28-10! Head uf the Valley hosts Falkville! Head uf the Valley takes a tough loss as Falkville wins 21-20! Scottsboro got their first win last week. They won’t get the 2nd this week as Guntersville wins 21-10! Woodville gets on track with a win over Galesville 14-7. North Jackson gets a win over DAR 28-17, and NSM drills Asbury 41-0! Bama shuts out the Gamecocks uf South Carolina 31-0. The Temp is rising, and it’s going to be hot! Make sure to drink plenty uf water and save me a spot by the Fence!!! The Guru BUM!!!!!!!
