Thomas “Tommy” Joe Moore, age 54, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021.  Funeral services were held on Friday, February 12, 2021, at 2:00 pm from the Guntersville Memorial Chapel.  Burial followed in Rehobeth Baptist Church Cemetery in Guntersville.

Mr. Donny C. Shaw,

Donny C. Shaw, age 79, of Guntersville, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021.  A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm from the Guntersville Memorial Chapel with Gerald Bell, Donny Carl Shaw, and Patrick Wayne Shaw speaking.  The family requested that the guest wear Alabama Football themed clothing to his memorial service.  Burial followed in Mount Olive Cemetery.  Mr. Shaw was a veteran of the United States Army as a NIKE missile crewman during the Cold War era. He was inducted into the Son’s of the American Revolution in 2005.

Quilla Dean Roden, age 89, of Guntersville, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, at Monroe County Hospital.  Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 21, 2021, atnoon from the Guntersville Memorial Chapel.  Burial followed in Crestview Cemetery.

Annie Laura Threatt, age 73, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021.  Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 2:00 pm from the Guntersville Memorial Chapel.  Burial followed in Warrenton Cemetery.

Johnny Gary Alexander, age 66, of Albertville, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at Huntsville Hospital.  Funeral services were held on Friday, February 26, 2021, at 2:00 pm from the Guntersville Memorial Chapel.  Burial followed in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Burial followed in Inglish Cemetery in Fackler.

Clarence Ray Culpepper, age 77, of Scottsboro, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at his residence.  On Monday, February 22, 2021, funeral services were held at 1:00 pm from Section Holiness Church with Brother Randall Hastings officiating.  Burial followed in Goosepond Cemetery.

Donald Ray “Donnie” Carden, age 57, of Skyline, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021.  A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 2:00 pm from  Carden Cemetery.

Carl Patrick Mahan, age 61, of Scottsboro, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021, at his residence.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 11:00 am from Randall’s Chapel United Methodist Church Worship Center (where he has served as pastor for the last six years) with Reverend Todd Henderson officiating.

Charles Oakley Moon, age 89 (formerly of New Hope), passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021.  On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, a graveside service was held at 11:00 am from Hayden Cemetery with Reverend Michael Carpenter officiating.  Mr. Moon was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War.

Fergerson, age 90, of New Hope, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021.  Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 1:00 pm from the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Wayne Hollingsworth officiating.  Burial followed in Walker Cemetery.  Mr. Fergerson was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War.

Rual McAuthor Cornelius, age 78, of New Hope, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021, at the Hospice Center in Huntsville.  Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at 2:00 pm from the New Hope Funeral Home, with Brother Wayne Walls officiating.  Burial followed in Hayden Cemetery.  Mr. Cornelius was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam era.  He was awarded the Good Conduct medal, Interior Service Medal and was awarded a sharpshooter at range qualifications.  He served in Frankfurt, West Germany.
